Whenever people talk about Katniss from the Hunger Games, I try to always point out that Buffy is a better strong female. Buffy is girly but is still strong and kicks ass, while Katniss is fairly strong, but a total tomboy. I love how Buffy shows you don’t need to be tomboyish to be a strong woman.
Um, please stop negating other people’s gender expressions and implying that women are somehow stronger or less strong based on the style of their jeans. Trying to argue that women wearing skirts are somehow stronger, or more womenly or whatever is just reinforcing the idea that being on one end of the gender spectrum is better than the other.
(Also, this argument is lame: Buffy didn’t just have one style and none of them affected her fighting abilities, except for the episode in the bank when she had to cut open her skirt to kick a demon.)
Morgan I love you

I see that girliness and tomboyishness are factors in considering how strong someone is. That’s nice.
